The Friends of Bowie Nature Park is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) tax exempt, non-profit organization which has provided assistance to the Fairview Parks Department in a wide range of activities. Many efforts have been made to keep the Park consistent with the wishes of our benefactor, Dr. Evangeline Bowie, to have the land maintained as a wildlife sanctuary and public park.

The City of Fairview will be having an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 28th at 10 a.m. (weather permitting) at Bowie Park (behind the playground). The Easter Bunny will be available for free photos from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

The City of Fairview will be hosting its arts and crafts fair day at Bowie Nature Park on Saturday, May 2nd from 9am-4pm. This will be a great day to sell and purchase items from local vendors.
