⚡️🥎 CLASH OF THE COACHES 🥎⚡️

This Sunday, June 7th, coaches, parents, volunteers, and community members will trade clipboards, lawn chairs, and scorebooks for gloves and bats as they take the field for the inaugural Clash of the Coaches Adult Slowpitch Softball Games at the Fairview Ballpark!

Whether you’re cheering for your favorite coach, laughing at parents trying to stretch a single into a double, or simply looking for a fun family night at the park, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

🏟️ Location: Fairview Ballpark – Field 1
🕒 First Game: 3:00 PM
🎟️ Admission: FREE

🌭 CONCESSION STAND WILL BE OPEN!
Every hot dog, hamburger, bag of popcorn, candy bar, and cold drink purchased helps support our young athletes. All concession proceeds will help fund Fairview Recreation Association All-Star uniforms, helping our baseball and softball players proudly represent Fairview during tournament season.

💺 Bring your lawn chairs, bring your family, and bring your sense of humor. There may be some great plays, there may be some questionable plays, and there will definitely be some sore muscles on Monday morning.

🎤 Commissioner Don Bufalini will be on the 1s and 2s, emceeing the event, keeping tally of all of the pulled hamstrings, and telling the coaches to "keep their elbow up", "keep their eye on the ball" and "swing earlier".

Let’s pack the stands, support our All-Stars, and celebrate the coaches, parents, volunteers, and community members who make youth sports possible.

🤗 WANT TO PLAY? There will be sandlot-style games at 6:30 PM and 7:40 PM. Comment below if you'd like to play during those times!

⚾️⭐️ FAIRVIEW ALL-STARS: THE ROAD TO TOURNAMENT SEASON BEGINS NOW ⭐️⚾️

Every spring, hundreds of young athletes take the field wearing a symbol of pride across their chest. They spend countless hours in the batting cages, on the practice fields, and under the lights working to improve their game, support their teammates, and compete at the highest level possible.

Today, we proudly recognize the players selected to represent the Fairview Recreation Association during the 2026 DYB All-Star tournaments.

These athletes have earned the opportunity to wear the black and gold All-Star uniform and carry the pride of not only our league, but also the Town of Fairview and the State of Tennessee. They will step onto fields across the region competing against the best while representing the values that make our community special—hard work, sportsmanship, resilience, and teamwork.

💛🖤 While we celebrate our All-Stars, we also want to celebrate every player who took the field this season.

From T-ball and coach pitch to the oldest divisions, we watched athletes hit their first baseballs, make their first catches, turn double plays, strike out batters, overcome adversity, and develop confidence both on and off the diamond. Every practice, every game, every inning contributed to the growth of our players and the strength of our program.

To our athletes: Thank you for your effort, dedication, and love of the game.

To our coaches: Thank you for investing your time, knowledge, and energy into developing young players and helping them become better teammates, competitors, and young people.

To our families: Thank you for the rides to practice, the late nights at the ballpark, the encouragement from the stands, and the unwavering support you provide.

Whether your season ended with a championship trophy, an All-Star selection, or simply becoming a better player than you were on Opening Day, you are part of what makes Fairview baseball special.

The season may be ending for some, but for our All-Stars, the next inning is just beginning.

Good luck to all of our teams as they represent Fairview on the tournament trail this summer. Bring the energy. Play the game the right way. Make Fairview proud.

⭐️🥎 CONGRATULATIONS, FAIRVIEW ALL-STARS! 🥎⭐️

Today, we proudly recognize the outstanding young ladies selected to represent the Fairview Recreation Association during the 2026 TN DYS District 5 All-Star season.

These athletes have earned the opportunity to wear “Fairview” across their chest and compete against some of the best teams in the region. As they take the field this summer, they won’t just represent our league—they’ll represent our community, the Town of Fairview, and the great State of Tennessee.

Being selected to an All-Star team is a reflection of countless hours spent practicing, learning, competing, and growing throughout the season. We are incredibly proud of each athlete who has accepted the challenge of representing our program on the tournament trail.

💛🖤 But today is about more than just those selected.

We want to recognize EVERY girl who stepped onto a softball field this season. Whether this was your first year picking up a glove or you’re a seasoned player, your effort, dedication, and growth mattered. This season was filled with tremendous competition, unforgettable moments, new friendships, and countless examples of perseverance.

To our athletes: Thank you for your hard work, your sportsmanship, and your commitment to improving every day. We hope to see you again, back on the diamond this fall or next spring!

To our coaches: Thank you for investing your time, energy, and passion into developing young athletes both on and off the field. Your leadership continues to make a lasting impact on the next generation.

To our sponsors: Thank you for commitment, investment and continued to support in our young athletes and programming.

The future of softball in Fairview is bright because of the young ladies who wear our colors and the families and volunteers who support them.

Join us in congratulating our 2026 Fairview All-Stars and celebrating every athlete who made this season special.

The Fairview Recreation Association sends our deepest condolences, prayers, and unwavering support to the athletes, families, coaches, and community of the Bethesda Bombers following the heartbreaking loss of a young athlete far too soon.

There are no words that can truly ease the pain of losing a child. This young athlete leaves behind teammates, friends, coaches, classmates, and loved ones who will forever carry their memory in their hearts.

In moments like these, we are reminded that youth sports are about far more than wins and losses. They are about community, family, friendships, and the bonds that connect us all across every field and every dugout.

To the family, please know that the Fairview community stands beside you. To the Bethesda Bombers organization, we grieve with you and support you during this unimaginable time.

We encourage our community to keep this family and organization in your thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

One softball family. One baseball family. One community. ❤️

A strong community starts with people who never forget where they came from.

The Superior Disposal LLC team continues to invest in the young athletes, families, and future of our community through their support of the Fairview Recreation Association. While many may remember the company as “Fairview Trash,” one thing has never changed — their roots are right here in this community.

This is more than a business sponsorship. It’s a local family supporting local kids, local parks, and the place they proudly call home. From maintaining opportunities for youth baseball and softball to helping create memorable experiences at the ballpark, support from community-minded businesses like Superior Disposal helps keep recreation thriving in Fairview.

When local businesses give back, our athletes win. Our families win. Our community wins.

Thank you to Superior Disposal LLC for continuing to stand behind the young athletes of Fairview and for showing what it means to support the hometown that supports you. ⚾🥎💛🖤
