If you are in need of assistance providing your children the items they need to go back to school, we are here to help!

IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER:

❗️Please only utilize this resource if you do not have another way to provide these items for your children.

❗️It is only for Pre-K through 12th grade students who attend school in the following counties in NW Oklahoma: Major, Blaine, Dewey, Woodward, Woods, Alfalfa, Garfield, and Kingfisher.

❗️Fill out a separate form for each child, please no duplicates. If there is an error on your form message our page and we will fix it

❗️ Be specific on sizes and you MUST include if it is adult (men’s or women’s) or youth for clothes and shoes.

❗️Please be patient, we will work through them all as fast as we can.

💚💙❤️ BACK TO SCHOOL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM INFORMATION 💚💙❤️

It’s time to get started on our annual Back to School Assistance Program! Due to the large volume of children needing help in the past, we did move it up a little to prepare and hopefully be able to better fulfill all of the needs!

We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma again this summer to provide no-cost meal boxes for children ages 1-18.

Dates and pickup times are listed on the image.

Each box will contain 5 breakfast meals and 5 lunch/dinner meals for a child. You will receive 2 boxes per child at each distribution.

Here is some information and guidelines:

- We will be distributing from the front of the church, under the awning on the East side facing the schools.

- There is no preregistration, but you will have to provide a parent/guardian's name and each child's name when you pick up.

- If a parent/legal guardian/grandparent shows up, the children DO NOT have to be with them.

- If you are not the parent/legal guardian/grandparent of the child(ren), the children DO have to be with you.

- Children can come on their own to obtain boxes for themselves. (Please make sure you know how they will transport the meals home.)

- Boxes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

- Families do not have to be from Fairview.

- We are under restrictions to start and stop at the posted times. We cannot start early, and we must stop at the posted end time.
If you arrive late or the next day, you will need to wait until the next opportunity.

- We CANNOT deliver.

I know I haven’t posted on here in quite a while, and I do apologize. We all know how busy life can get, and time seems to be flying by faster and faster!

❗️We are still open and available for any requests to fulfill the needs of the children in our communities❗️

The last few months we have still been meeting the needs of those who reached out for help. A few examples include:
💛Grandparents fostering their grandkids
💛A recently divorced mother who is in school and currently between jobs
💛Beds and bedding supplied to DHS workers for multiple foster care children
💛A single working father of two trying to make ends meet

We have been cleaning out excess donations and re-donating to other non profit organizations the items we have too many of or cannot use.

We are also already preparing and purchasing items to start getting ready for our back to school program! (Seems crazy I know, but it will be here before we know it!)

🆘 I am looking for some help coming up with ideas of how we can further help the children in Fairview and the surrounding rural communities 🆘

Our yearly back to school program is very successful, however, I feel that there are still needs not being met and that we could be doing more. There are so many extremely generous people that make this organization possible, and I want to honor them by using the funds given to the best of my ability. So please join me in praying for ways that we can reach out and help more children in need!

We are having a fundraiser for a chance to win 50 pounds of locally raised ground beef!!

This is a great deal on high quality local beef, and all the proceeds will go towards continuing to purchase items we do not have to meet the needs of children in our communities!
Due to an increase in requests, I have purchased 17 beds since the beginning of October to ensure every child in need has a warm, comfortable place to sleep. We are also seeing an increase in the need for winter clothes and coats as well and are supplementing what we are low on in those areas too!
