I know I haven’t posted on here in quite a while, and I do apologize. We all know how busy life can get, and time seems to be flying by faster and faster!

❗️We are still open and available for any requests to fulfill the needs of the children in our communities❗️

The last few months we have still been meeting the needs of those who reached out for help. A few examples include:
💛Grandparents fostering their grandkids
💛A recently divorced mother who is in school and currently between jobs
💛Beds and bedding supplied to DHS workers for multiple foster care children
💛A single working father of two trying to make ends meet

We have been cleaning out excess donations and re-donating to other non profit organizations the items we have too many of or cannot use.

We are also already preparing and purchasing items to start getting ready for our back to school program! (Seems crazy I know, but it will be here before we know it!)

🆘 I am looking for some help coming up with ideas of how we can further help the children in Fairview and the surrounding rural communities 🆘

Our yearly back to school program is very successful, however, I feel that there are still needs not being met and that we could be doing more. There are so many extremely generous people that make this organization possible, and I want to honor them by using the funds given to the best of my ability. So please join me in praying for ways that we can reach out and help more children in need!

We are having a fundraiser for a chance to win 50 pounds of locally raised ground beef!!

This is a great deal on high quality local beef, and all the proceeds will go towards continuing to purchase items we do not have to meet the needs of children in our communities!
Due to an increase in requests, I have purchased 17 beds since the beginning of October to ensure every child in need has a warm, comfortable place to sleep. We are also seeing an increase in the need for winter clothes and coats as well and are supplementing what we are low on in those areas too!

🍁Fall Updates 🍁

I apologize for being so quiet on here these last few months, I have had some big life changes take place so it has been a bit busier than normal for me!

We wrapped up our Back to School Assistance in perfect timing and ended with 276 children!!! This is an estimated donated value of over 46 thousand dollars!
Year after year it never ceases to amaze me how God continues to provide for this crazy little idea I had! In total we have given out back to school essentials to 658 kids in just 3 years! 🥹
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all who donated, helped, and prayed for us to make it all happen! 🧡

Since wrapping that up I have done 2 speaking events, gotten married, moved, and went on a honeymoon all while working at my full time job as well! (This is my side gig 😅)

My last name has changed, but the help we provide has not! My husband is a huge asset to me and this organization and I am very thankful for him! Our physical address has also not changed, but our mailing address has. If you need the new address, please message me!

I have also still been filling requests as they come in, we are never “closed” and do what we can to help all who need it, no matter the time!
The last few months we have given out 8 new beds with bedding, clothing and shoes for 4 kids, and 1 baby bag for a foster placement of a newborn baby.

The weather is changing, the holidays are coming, and we are facing some very unprecedented times for a lot of people.

WE HAVE 30 KIDS LEFT!!!

That means we have completed bags for 251 kids FULL of a weeks worth of clothes, new underwear, new shoes, new socks, new backpacks, new water bottles, and/or new lunchboxes based on the child’s needs.

We have emptied and refilled our totes more than once, went on numerous long shopping trips, and have ordered all the things we could find that we could use.

I wont lie, we have struggled to make this happen. But with the help of a small handful of wonderful people in my life and all of our generous donors, we are in the home stretch!!

**Woodward parents you are last because you don’t start school until next week, I will get them to you before then I promise. You will receive a text when it is ready for pick up!

We have 126 bags packed and we are getting them out the door as fast as we can!!

There are 277 kids on my list from 20 different towns in NW Oklahoma which means we are just now almost halfway done, so we still have a long ways to go! This is the point where I get overwhelmed and a little nervous about making it all happen, but I know God will provide ♥️

A lot of thought, time, and effort goes into each bag. We make sure to get clothes that will fit, outfits that match, and also ensure they are all in great condition. They aren’t just thrown in, they are carefully packed which takes quite a bit of time.

Please please please be patient, I promise we are doing everything we can and I will continue until I get everyone taken care of.

➡️ You will be contacted when yours is ready for pick up, please do not call or text to ask. You will get instructions in your text, the items must be picked up in Fairview. Please try to have someone get them the day your pick up time is scheduled.

I am very short on clothing this year, we need a lot to be able to finish. I am going to buy everything I can today, but buying things new in this large of quantities is getting very expensive.

I am accepting GENTLY used clothing donations in the following sizes as well, but please make sure it is in really good condition and is school appropriate.

‼️DO NOT LEAVE DONATIONS WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL‼️

I DO NOT accept any and all items that people wish to get rid of, so please stop leaving things in my donation bin that I cannot and will not ever use!! (see photos below🤦🏼‍♀️)

I am a very small organization and I sort through every item donated mostly by myself, or with the help of a small number of volunteers. I also work a full time job and I have a family.

I am here to help children in need, not to spend my time sorting through someone else’s junk and then having to haul it off somewhere else because I cannot use it, which happens often!

If this continues the donation bin will be removed completely and donations will be accepted by appointment only, which would be so unfortunate because it would only add more to my plate. 

I am so thankful for all of the good donations I receive, but sadly that is the smaller portion compared to what I get that I cannot use.

The ONLY items that I accept for donation are:

➡️ New or gently used clothing and shoes for CHILDREN

➡️ Adult sizes MUST be something a teenager would wear

➡️ New or gently used baby items

➡️ New or gently used twin size beds/bedding

➡️ NEW socks and underwear (child appropriate!)

***gently used means NO stains, rips, or holes***

There are a few exceptions depending on the time of year, but please ask before bringing them!

I hope people understand how much I have poured into this organization, and how much it means to me to give out good quality items to those in need.

Please follow the guidelines and don’t ruin it for everyone else.

213 kids on our list so far!!

We have been shopping A LOT and ordering everything we can find on sale, but we are still going to need a lot of help to make this happen!
