Thank you to our teachers and parents who came to support the PTO activities this evening at our meeting. Student Council will be at meetings to help provide child care activities for those who would like to come and bring their littles.

Tonight we discussed our September activities: Book Fair, Red Robin Dine-out Night and Popsicles on the Playground for K and 2nd grades (3rd was rained out so TBD on a new date 🍧)

Coming up for October be on the lookout for:
🍁Harvest Fest Trunk or Treat sign ups πŸš—πŸš•πŸš™
🍁Giving to the Candy Monster who will be collecting candy for Trunk or Treat 🍫🍬🍭
🍁Harvest Fest informational flyers and volunteer opportunities
🍁Dine Out Night at Raising Cane's on Thursday, 10.10.24 πŸ”

Through successful fundraisers, such as Harvest Fest's kids raffle and silent auction, book fairs, dine out and skate nights, penny wars, etc., we will be supporting our student incentives and rewards that were requested this month (to be used throughout the school year) at both Pontiac and William Holliday.

These fundraisers are essential to continue supporting our students, teachers, staff and our overall school community. Thank you to all who continue to donate your time, talents and treasure in supporting our PTO. πŸ’™πŸ’›

Thank you, thank you to everyone who shopped our book fair this week! We grossed over $8.5k in sales over the three days which leads to many books and gadgets to our students and many books and classroom supplies to our teachers via scholastic rewards! πŸ“š πŸ“ βœ‚οΈ

Thank you to…
- our janitorial staff who brought many tables to help space out the fair (and tore down),
- teachers and staff who stayed after school Friday to help setup the book fair,
- our group of volunteers (moms, dads, grandparents and staff) who gave their time to help kiddos shop, cash out, bag up and organize between groups!
- 8th graders for coming to help our younger shoppers navigate the fair,
- student council for helping at Family Night playing book walk, coloring, greeting and encouraging bookmark voting,
- Mr. Carter for gathering all bookmark submissions, creating a voting system and displaying all bookmarks at Family Night,
- our cleanup crew of teachers and staff Wednesday night, helping grant books to teacher wish lists, tear down and clean up of the fair,
- and, Mrs. McMahon for having us take over the dome this week!

These events take a village to orchestrate! πŸ’›πŸ’™πŸ€
