We were proud to welcome Heroic Arts Tattoo to Packett’s Landing. Owned by Joe D’Amico, this independently owned studio brings creativity, artistry, and new energy to our waterfront district. Small businesses like Heroic Arts Tattoo play an important role in shaping the character of our community, adding to the vibrant mix of shops, restaurants, and services that make Fairport a destination for residents and visitors alike. Congratulations to Joe on the opening of his studio! We look forward to seeing Heroic Arts Tattoo grow and thrive in Fairport. 🎨✂️

We also celebrated the ribbon cutting for The Mayeu Financial Group - Northwestern Mutual at their new South Main Street location. Led by founder Brian Mayeu, the firm has made a meaningful long-term investment in Fairport by purchasing and thoughtfully renovating a historic mid-1800s building while preserving its character. After 25 years in leased space, this relocation reflects a strong commitment to our downtown and the community Brian and his family call home. In addition to providing retirement-focused financial planning, the firm remains actively engaged in charitable initiatives that support residents throughout the region. There's something special about seeing your hometown through the eyes of a first-time visitor.

Last summer,travel writer Karon Warren spent time exploring Fairport and Rochester, experiencing many of the places, people, and businesses that make our community such a wonderful destination. From our delicious lunch at Mulconry's Irish Pub & Restaurant to visits with Erie Canal Boat Company and Woodcliff Hotel & Spa, she got a firsthand look at the charm, hospitality, and experiences that residents enjoy every day.

Town and County officials joined FinditinFairport.com and the Fairport Perinton Partnership for a Better Community yesterday to celebrate the opening of Backwoods by Kettle Ridge.

Created by Joe and Chris Hurley and the Kettle Ridge team, Backwoods is a unique outdoor destination where live music, local food, recreation, and nature come together in a setting that is a natural fit for Perinton. With proximity to local trails and a focus on bringing people together outdoors, Backwoods offers a new way for residents and visitors to experience our community.

After years of planning, investment, and growth, it’s exciting to celebrate this latest milestone with the Hurley family and their team. We wish them much continued success!

Surrounded by family, the owners celebrated the opening of their new restaurant and an exciting new chapter. The family also operates a business in Waterloo and chose Perinton for their newest venture, bringing a unique blend of Indian-inspired cuisine, American favorites, pizza, and ice cream to the community.
