In celebration of West Virginia Day, we are proud to offer FREE trail access to all West Virginia residents on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

“West Virginia Day is a special opportunity to celebrate our state’s rich heritage, scenic beauty and outdoor recreation opportunities,” said Marketing Director Chris Zeto. “We’re excited to welcome West Virginians to experience the Hatfield-McCoy Trails at no cost and enjoy a day of adventure with family and friends. We invite everyone to come ride, explore and celebrate the Mountain State with us.”

Residents must present a valid West Virginia driver’s license or state-issued identification card to receive their complimentary day pass.

Not everyday you get to meet someone that influenced a world wide trend and movement. I had the pleasure of getting to meet Cheryl who was the mom of Allison Parliament who started the Ducking trend around the world. A gracious, funny mom that’s all about jeeping, what her daughter brought to this world, and what she has left to the world with just a random act of kindness by leaving a small rubber duck on their jeep. Allison passed away in 2024 but her spirit lives on in every random act of kindness. Meeting her mom and Jason was a really cool Chance meeting that I’m glad that happened.
