Fairmont Legacy Foundation Fund

Fairmont Legacy Foundation Fund FLFF was launched in May 2024 as an affiliated fund of Nebraska Community Foundation.

Now part of a statewide movement to spearhead community development and create future prosperity, FLFF is working to build a robust, permanent unrestricted endowment.

As a fund of Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF), we are excited to celebrate Jason on his promotion. While establishing the Fairmont Legacy Foundation Fund, we had many questions about financials, endowments, and long-term sustainability—and Jason was a trusted resource every step of the way.
This is just one of the many ways the organization invests in the future of Nebraska and supports local communities as they build something lasting.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧!

𝑽𝒐𝒍𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚.

From the dedicated members of our fire department who show up at a moment’s notice, to the parents who rolled up their sleeves to get the ballfield game-ready, to the countless individuals who plan, organize, and bring our community events to life — none of it happens without you.

Today, on Volunteer Recognition Day, we celebrate ALL the people who give their time, energy, and heart without expecting anything in return. You make our town stronger, safer, and more connected.

Thank you for showing up. Thank you for caring. And thank you for making this community a place we’re all proud to call home.

Earlier today, a school bus full of high school students rolled into Fairmont for Give Back Day. Over the course of two hours, they poured their time and energy into serving our community, leaving a meaningful impact in such a short time.

A heartfelt thank you to Fillmore Central Public Schools for teaching students to show up, give back, and care about the communities around them.

Nebraska Community Foundation is hosting Regional Peer Learning Sessions with Hebron as the host on April 7.

We invite you to join us as our guest as regional funds and NCF staff gather to build connections, share ideas, and practice the Common Courage of stewarding donors and communities well. Come ready to learn—and to strengthen the network that supports your hometown.

The session will feature a special opportunity to hear from Tom Mosgaller and Mike Breininger, authors of Pulling Together: A Handbook for Community Change. Their insights on collaboration, community, and shared leadership align beautifully with the spirit of Common Courage and promise to spark meaningful conversation and fresh ideas for your fund. Tom & Mike will share their framework for community change. You may have seen & heard Mike & Tom at NCF's Annual Fund Training in November 2025.

A complimentary meal will be provided.

If interested, send us a message and we will get you registered!
