This week our CASA staff and some of our amazing volunteers had the opportunity to participate in the WVWC Center for Addiction & Trauma 2026 Summer Institute! It was 2 full days of training, collaboration, and renewed hope for the kids and families of WV! Thank you West Virginia Wesleyan Counseling and all the wonderful staff who made it happen!

*And check out the incredible "note taking" boards done live during each session!

How fortunate we are to be part of a community that gives back in so many ways! It’s incredibly encouraging to be supported by so many people in so many different ways.

Last week, we were surprised with toys, gift cards, and treats for our kiddos! Thank you to Fairmont State Town & Gown Players and Rebecca DeWitt (and kids) for the generous donation and for your support.

The cast of the upcoming production of “Come From Away” was inspired by the moving story of one of the characters in the show and chose to find a meaningful way to give back to our community. Their kindness is a beautiful reminder that compassion can inspire action and that even small acts of generosity can make a big difference in the lives of children and families.

We are so grateful for each person and organization that chooses to support CASA of Marion County. Thank you for helping us continue to advocate for the children we serve. ❤️

You don't need a law degree.
You don't need a social work background.
You don't need special experience.

You simply need compassion, dedication, and a willingness to advocate for a child.

CASA provides the training. Children need a voice.

Training starts in July.

Children in foster care often experience constant change.

A CASA volunteer becomes one consistent adult focused solely on the child's best interests.

One person can make a lasting impact.

Could that person be you?

Thank You, Stantec!

CASA of Marion County would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Stantec for their generous donation of $750.

Their donation was used to purchase supplies for our summer activity kits, which our advocates will use during visits with the children they serve. These kits provide fun, engaging activities that help advocates build relationships and meaningful connections with children.

In addition to their financial support, members of the Stantec team generously volunteered their time to assemble the summer activity kits and put together volunteer handbooks for our advocates.

We are incredibly thankful for Stantec's commitment to our mission and their investment in the children and families of our community. Their support helps ensure that children involved in abuse and neglect proceedings have dedicated advocates by their side.

Thank you, Stantec, for making a difference!❤💙

We are blown away by the generosity of the North Marion High School Student Council, who organized a school‑wide effort that raised more than $1,300 for CASA of Marion County!

Seeing an entire student body come together to support children in foster care reminds us how powerful compassion can be, especially when it starts with young people. Thank you, Huskies, for showing our community what kindness looks like. You are amazing! 🩶🤍
