Anyone around the Barrackville area looking for vaccination options for your cat and/or dog? Check out this vaccination clinic, tomorrow, Saturday, June 6th.

📣We are excited to announce the date for our vaccination clinic taking place at Barrackville School on June 6th from 9-11am! This is a cash and local check only event. Proceeds will go towards the Busy Bison 4H Club. Please keep animals in carriers or on leashes while attending the event. We look forward to seeing you and your furry friends!

Learn best food preservation practices during this hands on workshop.
Cost is $20 a person and includes both sessions.
Call the Marion County Extension Office to register at 304-367-2772.
Pressure Canning, Water Bath Canning, Drying, and Freezing will be offered.
Tuesdays, June 2 & 9, 6:00-8:30pm, Police Reserve Building, 35 City View Terrace, Fairmont, WV.
Cost is $20 and checks are made payable to WVU and can be mailed or dropped off to:

There will also be a camp Workday - Sunday, May 17th at 9am. Camp Board is asking for help. If you are available, please come and help with some of the projects to get the camp ready for the summer. While there are some projects that might require some tools and special knowledge, there are always projects that just require some able bodies to complete. Come in the morning or later in the afternoon. Whenever you can come and help, we would greatly appreciate it. Sign up at:

🐰💚 We have some hoppy news to share!

Thanks to the National Pets in the Classroom grant, our office has a new rabbit friend who will help us teach youth about human-animal interaction, social-emotional learning, empathy, communication, and responsibility during school visits and out-of-school time programs.

Now just one thing is missing… she needs a name! 🌼
