Robes for Recovery arose from a community service project initiated by the employees of Fairmont Federal Credit Union in 2013 and was approved as an unincorporated nonprofit association in December 2014. Robes for Recovery was designated in 2015 as a tax-exempt, charitable organization under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) for the purpose of producing and donating customized radiation robe

s to breast cancer patients at local hospitals. All tax deductible contributions received from individuals, businesses and other organizations will be used only for the production and distribution of robes and for the promotion of its cause.
