🇺🇸 New Military Family Fee Waiver Begins June 1, 2026
Scouting America is expanding access to Scouting for military-connected youth by waiving the **$85 national youth registration fee** for eligible military families.
This new program is funded through charitable donations and is designed to help military families connect their children with the adventure, leadership opportunities, and community that Scouting provides.
🎖️ Eagle Scout Vincent La Padula, CEO of J.P. Morgan Workplace Solutions, recently contributed $100,000 to help launch the initiative. As an Eagle Scout and father of two Eagle Scouts, he believes no young person should miss out on Scouting because of financial barriers.

✅ Youth whose parent or guardian currently serves in:
• Active Duty Military
• National Guard
• Reserve Components

2️⃣ Select **"Get Military Family Discount"** during checkout
3️⃣ Complete the verification process
4️⃣ Apply the discount code provided
The $85 national youth registration fee will be waived. Local council fees, unit dues, optional purchases, and processing fees may still apply.
Military families often face frequent moves, deployments, and changing communities. Scouting provides a consistent program where youth can build friendships, develop leadership skills, and find a sense of belonging—no matter where they live.
