Young Leaders of Marion County Young Leaders is a youth leadership program established by the Marion County Chamber of Commerce.

Young Leaders is a program established by the Marion County Chamber of Commerce. This program will run parallel to Leadership Marion and will give students an opportunity for a deeper understanding of Marion County. Students will spend the year touring the community while learning about its strengths, challenges, and opportunities! Class members will be exposed to influential business leaders and young professionals from across Marion County and will have the chance to explore careers, ask questions of industry professionals and discover the spirit of collaborations that make Marion County a great place to live, work, learn, and play. A huge thank you to our program sponsors: Marion County Chamber of Commerce, Marion County Board of Education, and Wesbanco!

Our second stopped the day was a BIG one! We spent a couple of hours at the Disability Action-Center. We started with a tour of their facility, including the new Wilfong Wellness Center. We had lunch provided by Feel Good Meals and while we ate, we heard from representatives from the Tygart Valley United Way, CASA of Marion County, Stepping Stone, and HOPE.

It was an incredibly informative stop!

Our first stop of the day for our non-profit seminar day was On Eagles' Wings Therapeutic Horsemanship! The students got to meet so many of the horses and other animals and heard about all the benefits of riding and caring for horses for people of all abilities!

Great start to the day!

We ended our day with a friendly round of putt putt and some smiles for pics!
