❤️ HAPPY HEART MONTH ❤️
Better late than never, but heart health matters all year long. Here are a few important ways you can start taking care of your ticker today 👇
1️⃣ Move your body
Find ways to incorporate exercise into your daily life — especially higher-intensity movement. Walking, running, cycling, lifting weights, and aerobics all count. At the end of the day, consistency matters more than perfection. Busy day at the computer? Drop down and knock out 50 squats or 50 pushups. Anything is better than nothing. Your heart will thank you later.
2️⃣ Eat real food
Prioritize whole foods whenever you can. Cutting back on processed and junk food is huge for heart health. If possible, stock up on beef, chicken, salmon, fruits, veggies, and grains each week. Indulging occasionally is fine, but when eating out and processed snacks become the norm, your heart and body pay the price.
3️⃣ Cut the vices
There’s a reason alcohol consumption is declining, people are realizing it weakens the heart and other organs. The same goes for smoking, va**ng, and ni****ne products. Eliminating these habits can be one of the biggest steps toward improving your heart health.
4️⃣ Get checked
Too many people skip the doctor because they “feel fine.” Even without symptoms, annual checkups, blood work, and heart screenings matter. Being proactive saves lives. Knowing where your heart health stands is powerful information.
Take care of your heart; you only get one ❤️
