We've wrapped up our season and wanted to take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to all of the amazing students and organizations we were fortunate enough to host this year! We enjoyed every one of your visits and hope to see many of you back again next season! Thanks as well to this incredible crew that makes it all happen, and just as importantly, makes it all FUN!

Our spring season may be winding down but we're here stepping up the trainings! These smiles sure make Wilderness First Aid training look like fun, while over on the ropes course we're getting our Ropes Team ready to run all the courses for ALL the Aloha Foundation campers this summer!

The trees are filling in around campus and we are enjoying every moment of this busy time of year. Shore Country Day School was with us on the ropes course last week, and the big zip line is a becoming a spring showcase of all the bright green colors!

At Hulbert we try to encourage everyone to take one step outside of their comfort zone, no matter how small. We feel that by doing so they become more confident, realize they can achieve hard things, and in the process they might inspire others to do the same! Plainfield Elementary School showcased this on our Ropes Course last week, encouraging each other to break those barriers and look forward to new challenges.

Riverbend School from Natick, Massachusetts was on campus last week with their 4th-6th grades, coming back for their second year of Hulbert programming and making the most of it. Students focused on being the leaders they have grown into during the school year and celebrated those achievements together! We also opened up our Climb Tower for the first time this year, as a fun challenge for the 6th graders!

Students from Brooklyn STEAM school made the long trip up to Fairlee from the city. These Juniors and Seniors were able to convert their thoughts on their ideal community into research on non-profits around their area--as close as next door to the school! Given the unique offerings of their school, during the trip students interviewed each other as well as Hulbert staff for their in-house podcast! We look forward to working with Brooklyn STEAM more in the future!

Last Friday, Hulbert went on the road with our instructors to Tunbridge Central School. We spent the sunny morning running games and teambuilding activities for 85 kindergarten-second graders! Thank you to the students for giving us your energy and attention and thank you to the teachers who helped run a great program!

Flying through the air on our running zip line, celebrating getting to home at an exciting kickball game, and spending time with new friends are just a few of the special moments we have made at our April Vacation Camp!! Our April Vacation Camp has been awesome so far!! There are simply too many highlights to share as we have been making the most of this warm spring weather. But between all of the high energy excitement around our campus, there has also been some time to relax - as you can see in this picture with Hulbert Instructor Sarah leading a yoga session!

Although the lake isn't quite as open as this picture shows, it is getting there little by little! With signs of spring showing up all over our campus, we are excited to return to all the activities that the warmer weather allows us to offer. Soon we will be canoeing, testing our skills on the archery range, and observing the wildlife that surrounds Hulbert - with all the energy that the new season brings us.
