We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
As we continue into the season of gratitude, we’re also celebrating Giving Tuesday—a day dedicated to kindness, generosity, and supporting the causes that strengthen our community.

If you’re able, we invite you to take part in this global day of giving and consider supporting the Disability Resource Center of the NRV. Your generosity helps us continue providing essential services, hope, and independence to those we serve.

Thank you for being part of our community, and we wish you a warm and joyful start to the holiday season.

In an attempt to stay on top of all the remaining events in support of our veterans as we approach Veterans Day, we've put together a list of some events that we know of in the NRV. Feel free to post others that are open to the public below in the comments.

Thank you to all who have served, having forever changed their lives in the process.

Your Support Makes a Difference—Here’s How to Help

As we step into this critical role, many have asked how they can help. We invite our supporters to make year-end donations earlier this year and consider increasing their contribution. Thanks to our strong network of partners, we can stretch your dollars further by purchasing food at greatly reduced rates.
We appreciate all donations—every gift matters—but we kindly ask that contributions be made in cash whenever possible. This helps us act quickly and efficiently. If you can, please send your donation within the next 10 days to ensure we meet urgent needs.
Thank you for standing with us and making a real impact in our community!

Please donate here: https://vtymca.networkforgood.com/ or send a check to The YMCA at Virginia Tech, 403 Washington St SW, Blacksburg VA 24060. THANK YOU!

Together, we can provide nourishment, dignity, and hope.
