Dear My Team Triumph Southern Alabama Family,
It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the end of our My Team Triumph Southern Alabama chapter. So much thanks and love goes out to our Captains, Angels, and Volunteers who helped share the message of INCLUSION throughout our Mobile and Baldwin communities over the past 6 years.
When we started in 2014, we had no clue what to expect. We just knew we wanted to help those with special needs to experience the thrill of participating in and crossing the finish line of endurance events. But it turned out to be so much more. Relationships were formed. Memories were made. And a positive impact spread throughout the racing community.
There are too many success stories to list. But once COVID-19 is a thing of the past and social distancing measures no longer need to be taken, we do hope to bring everyone back for a reunion event to share in the love and laughter we all have experienced together over the years.
My Team Triumph National is still alive and well. So when you find yourselves in Atlanta, St. Louis, Corpus Christi, Chicago, or any of the other cities where our chapters are located…..feel free to look them up and join them for a race. Our closest chapter is in Columbus, Georgia. There is also an Ainsley’s Angels chapter in Biloxi, Mississippi.
A special thank you to founding Board Members Amy Lassiter, Natalie Maddox, and Morgan Ashurst.
In the meantime, please look for ways to practice INCLUSION in every aspect of life. Thank you for your time and participation throughout the years. It would not have been possible without you. We love you all.
Sincerely,
Clint Martin - President
Casey Platt - Vice President
Joshua Duplantis - Treasurer
Kristen Klutes - Secretary
