Trick or Trout has some very special news to share 🎣🎃

This year, we’re partnering with Closer to Heaven Media (CTH) to help tell a story that means more to us than we could ever put into words — The Steve Dorsey Story.

This production will be about more than Steve’s life. It will be about the impact he left on his family and friends, the memories that are still shared today, and how those memories became something bigger than any of us could have imagined.

What started as a way to honor Steve has grown into the Trick or Trout Foundation — from our Halloween fishing tournament and anglers showing up in costumes, to giving back to our community, supporting young people, and now creating the Steve Dorsey Memorial Reef.

Steve’s memory continues to bring people together. And now, we want to tell that story.

CTH will begin filming at Sign Day on October 3rd, a very special and meaningful day for Trick or Trout. Seeing the Steve Dorsey Memorial signs installed at the reef will represent years of love, support, hard work, and people believing in what this foundation stands for.

CTH will be on the water at the reef, going boat to boat and giving supporters an opportunity to share a short testimonial about Trick or Trout, the reef, or Steve if you were fortunate enough to know him.

If you knew Steve personally, we would especially love for you to be part of this. CTH will also be conducting one-on-one and group interviews. Share a favorite memory or simply talk about what Steve and Trick or Trout means to you.
