It’s been quite a while since I’ve done an ‘in-home’ Bible Study. South Shore girls are so gracious and I thank them that they expressed their desire to have one. We had a BLAST! That’s actually how I got started in the ministry. I had no idea that I was called into the ministry yet, but all I knew was that I LOVED doing Bible Studies - attending them, leading them, etc.-every chance that I got-I just couldn’t get enough! Mix that with Bethesda College and wha-lah-God had a minister in the making.
I am forever grateful for our Pastors, Frank and Parris Bailey of Victory Church who allowed me to ‘launch’ my heart’s desire- do those Bible Studies-attend and eventually teach at Bethesda College and make disciples-My life was changed forever. !

What a BLESSING!
Linda Rhodes recently purchased copies of our
PERSEVERANCE mini-book for her Bible study group. She shared that Perseverance is truly a
“word in due season” for each of them!

‘Divine Reset’ has begun! Girls filled the place over at Courtyard Bistro in Mandeville this morning! ’RESTORING OUR EMOTIONS! “God gave us emotions as INDICATORS and MOTIVATORS, but NEVER as MASTERS!”
We discussed what our emotions were like BEFORE the cross, and then we discussed what their proper use is to be AFTER the cross! Thank God for REDEMPTION! We ARE able to control our emotions and have them work properly, empowering us to serve God and humanity through Christ. We then went over 8 ways to PUT ON THE NEW MAN (Eph. 4:23-24). Today was so powerful! God truly filled the room with His Presence and lives are forever changed! 🙌🏻

We had such a beautiful time in Baton Rouge celebrating our amazing grandson Tripp Donahue’s 5th Birthday! Family, friends, T-ball crew and school mates, all had a blast with the celebration! When asked what would he like to do when he grows up? 5-year old Tripp says, “I want to be a construction worker, a builder, a dinosaur and a drummer for my church!” Awesome stuff Tripp! We will definitely be checking back!

I got SO BLESSED in my devotions this morning as I re-studied The Aaronic Blessing!
Often, at the end of our meetings, I will ask the Worship Leader to sing this song because I love the LEGACY and GENERATIONAL INHERITANCE that it speaks of/GIVES LIFE to our families and the next generation. But as I studied it further this morning, this phrase jumped out at me: 👉And the Lord spoke to Moses saying, “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, THIS IS THE WAY YOU SHALL BLESS THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL….” and he continues with what we often call The Aaronic Blessing. Here is a shortened break-down of ‘The Blessing’ as per Jentzen Franklin: And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel.
Say to them: The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.’
So they shall put My name on the children of Israel and I will bless them.” (Numbers 6:22-27.)
*V. 24-“The Lord BLESS you and KEEP you.”
*BLESS=barack-to bend down, to show favor, to enrich, to prosper. When God blesses someone, He’s not just wishing them well-He’s bending low to meet them where they are and enrich their lives in every way possible.
*KEEP (you.)=Shamar - to guard, to protect, to watch over, to preserve.
The Aaronic Blessing, combines BLESSING with KEEPING; FAVOR with PROTECTION; PROSPERITY with PRESERVATION.
*v. 25-“The Lord make His FACE shine upon you, and be gracious to you.”
*FACE=relationship, acceptance, and Divine Favor.
*v. 26-“The Lord lift up His COUNTENANCE upon you, and give you peace.”
*COUNTENANCE=God‘s face, God‘s INTENSE PERSONAL ATTENTION and care.
*v. 27-“So they shall put MY NAME on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”
*GOD’S NAME is literally placed UPON the person(s) being blessed!
👉 Think about what it means to carry GOD’S NAME. It means you carry His authority over every demonic force. It means you have access to His unlimited resources. It means His character-His love, wisdom, power, and faithfulness, become available to you in every situation! 😱❤️🙌🏻
