AFS American Friends of Sesobel American Friends of SESOBEL is a support organization for the Lebanese non-profit SESOBEL and a U.S. tax-exempt non-profit 501 (c)

**SESOBEL was founded during the civil war of Lebanon in 1976 to assist children with severe mental and physical disabilities as they were marginalized, abandoned and ignored in regular hospitals and within the society.

**SESOBEL offers medical, educational and therapy services to children regardless of their religious or ethnical backgrounds. SESOBEL accompany the parents in facing life's chall

enges related to their children's limitations and works within the society by raising awareness on their needs and also by advocating for their rights.

**SESOBEL relies mainly on donations and grants as 80% of it children come from low income families

** American Friends of SESOBEL is supported and managed strictly by volunteers.
