Reminder that ANY Gar species is accepted for the Angler of the Year tournament this month. It’s not just limited to Alligator Gar. Also, Spanish Mackerel is the Saltwater species. There’s plenty of both around right now so get out there!

ESFF joined at Meaher State Park this weekend. Our own Foster received the Salty Kidz Sportsmanship Award for his great attention and attitude working with the kids. We are so proud of him!

Angler of the year tournament standings as of August 2nd. Quite a few fish entered last month! August species are Spanish Mackerel and Gar. Plenty of nice Spanish on the beach and close wrecks now so get out there!
