After having worked for 50 years, starting at age 12 as a caddy I now turn my attention to projects I have longed to do. Among them restore a 180 year old sea captains house in historic Fairhaven, restore old cars and motorcycles, and above all trying to make the world a little better. With that I am in the first throws of starting a volunteer based organization with the goal of planting 1000 tree

s in the Southcoast area of Massachusetts. Calling it Community 1KTree I hope to capture carbon and hearts by pretty much planting a tree where ever it can enhance the surroundings in which it is placed by providing shade, beauty, and hope for the future. My intent is to make this an entirely volunteer organization with all funds directed to the planting of trees. Please contact me with encouragement, opportunity for a tree placement, or anything else you think may be helpful.
