Many have been wondering why Senator Collins joined us for the luncheon today. Here are her comments from her official page.

"It was wonderful to join dozens of Mainers today at the Victor Grange in Fairfield for a senior luncheon. This all-volunteer facility is a pillar of the community, hosting meals for the public, serving as a meeting place for local groups and events, and opening its doors to residents during emergencies. Its dedicated supporters have worked tirelessly to maintain the Victor Grange Hall, a building more than a century old.

As Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, I am working to secure $290,000 in federal funding for weatherization, electrical upgrades, and other essential improvements that will help ensure the Grange can continue serving as a welcoming gathering place for Fairfield residents for years to come."
