AMVETS Riders Post 71

On Saturday, August 29th, members of the AMVETS Riders Post 71 rode from AmVets Post 71, Fairfield, Ohio to Fortville, IN (nearly 100 miles) to present a $550 donation to Kammy's Kause for the 4p- Support Group, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. in honor and memory of member Nancy Henry's son Keith. After walking around the festival, we stopped at AMVETS Post #26 in Pendleton, IN, for cold drinks and then had lunch at Wolfies Grill (where we had a phenomenal waitress who joined in on our shenanigans) before heading back to the Post. It was a great day for a great cause!

Some of the best rides are unplanned, impromptu, "let's ride," excursions. Today was one of those days. A few of our members met up and went on a nice ride out of Butler and through Warren county and stopped at The Monkey Bar for a bite to eat. Thanks to Road Captain Chuck Hanson for leading the ride. It was a great day! 🌞 🏍 🇺🇲

🚨 Walk to support su***de awareness and prevention 🇺🇸

An inaugural Warrior Walk is taking place in Hamilton to raise awareness and funds to help prevent su***de among active-duty military, veterans, and first responders — including the warriors who live and serve right here in our own community. ❤️

Every step, every mile, counts. 👟 Walk, run, bring the family, or just come out for support.

While on Fridays, we encourage everyone to wear RED (Remember Everyone Deployed), today on Purple Heart Day 💜 we pause to honor the brave men and women who were wounded or made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Purple Heart recipients embody extraordinary courage, resilience, and selfless devotion to duty. We owe a debt of gratitude to them that can never truly be repaid, but we can ensure their sacrifices are never forgotten.

To those heroes and their families, thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your unwavering commitment to our freedom.
