In this business, a low offer isn't an insult, it’s a conversation starter.

I always tell my clients: never be the one to cut off negotiations. The goal is to keep the deal alive and be the last one to speak. You truly never know where a transaction might go until you engage, so never shut down the back and forth.

It’s a bit ironic when sellers get offended by a low number. In reality, we should be more "offended" by the dozens of people who toured the home and didn't offer anything at all. The person who put pen to paper, wrote a check, and did their due diligence deserves a response, regardless of the figure. They’re at the table while everyone else is just window shopping.

Always respond. Always negotiate. You can’t get to "sold" if you stop talking.
