On behalf of Greg, Benny and I we cannot thank everyone enough for all the donations over the last few months that we were able to deliver to CHOP today. We are so grateful that, even three years later, you feel just as strongly as we do about giving back to a place that has meant so much to our family.
Today, we met some of the child life staff from the PICU in the lobby and were immediately greeted with excitement over all the awesome things we had to bring them. They informed us that many of these items were in such great need during this time of the year and couldn’t emphasize enough what a difference it will make. We had to smile while we carried the boxes in as a little bald headed, angel rolled by with her mom smiling in our favorite blue car, waving hello 💛
Childhood cancer is absolutely horrible and changes children and family’s lives forever. While others may not understand, we will never forget. We will also never take for granted how lucky we are to still be a family. We pray that in Benny’s lifetime he will one day see a cure for all future children, but until then we will continue to support those who have to go through this. 💪🏼
