Wayne County Historical Society The Hanna House is Open 10am - 2pm Saturdays from April through October. The Early History Museum and Archives are open Saturdays, 10am -2pm or by appointment.

A BIG Heart-felt THANK YOU to everyone who helped, participated or attended the 2026 Cemetery TOUR. The event was a HUGE SUCCESS with close to 400 people attending.

There is no meeting of the Historical Society this month. Enjoy the Fall Fun Fest. See you October 15th at the Fairfield Public Library at 6:00pm for a monthly meeting.

Get your tickets for the Cemetery Tour. Uniquely Rustique and Fairfield Public Library have tickets.
Tour is THIS Friday, and Saturday Sept. 11 and 12, afternoons - first wagon-load at 3:30pm, wagons every 15 minutes until 6:30pm. Don't miss it.
