Hey Solano Partners,

Live Solano Give Solano 2026 Registration Opens Tomorrow!

We're thrilled to announce that registration for Live Solano Give Solano 2026 opens tomorrow, April 1st at 6:00 AM — Solano County's very own giving day, brought to you by Solano Community Foundation!
Register Here
Now in its second year, Live Solano Give Solano (LSGS) is a powerful, community-wide celebration of generosity that puts a spotlight on the nonprofits doing vital work right here in Solano County. Last year's inaugural event showed just how much our community comes together when it matters — and we're ready to make 2026 even bigger.

Why Should Solano Nonprofits Participate?

Nonprofits across the region have shared how much events like LSGS mean to their missions. Here's what participating organizations consistently tell us:

"Together, we can create lasting change in our community."
"Every donation, big or small, makes a difference in the lives we touch."
"Local giving days remind us of the strength and compassion within our community."

We couldn't agree more; we want EVERY Solano Nonprofit to join the LSGS movement.
Here's what participation in LSGS can do for nonprofits:

Reach new supporters. Each year, thousands of people discover organizations they've never heard of through giving days. Many become first-time donors, volunteers, and advocates — expanding your reach well beyond your current network.

Reconnect with your community. LSGS gives you a built-in moment to share your impact, celebrate your work, and remind supporters why your mission matters.

Leverage matches and prizes. Between match funds you may secure and prizes offered throughout LSGS, your supporters' gifts can go further — encouraging donors to give more because they know their impact will be multiplied.

Boost your visibility. With coordinated regional publicity, peer-to-peer excitement, and shared marketing efforts, LSGS shines a spotlight on local causes across Solano County.

Access free tools, training, and support. Registered participants gain access to a full suite of resources to strengthen your campaign. You'll also be invited to LSGS Prep Days and Office Hours, where our team offers hands-on guidance every step of the way.
Is LSGS Right for Your Favorite Nonprofit?

You're ready to participate if you:

💸 Want to raise flexible, unrestricted funds ⏰ Can find time to plan your campaign 🤝 Have buy-in from your leadership 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Can engage staff, board, or volunteers 📭 Have access to communications tools (social media, email, etc.) 🫶 Have a network of supporters; of any size! 📣 Are open to trying digital tools or learning new strategies.

The process is simple, and the impact can last long after the giving day is over; new donors, deeper community engagement, and wider visibility for the work you do every day.

Registration opens April 1st at 6:00 AM. Mark your calendar and be ready to sign up!

Questions? We're here to help. Reach out to us at [email protected] and let's make Live Solano Give Solano 2026 the most impactful giving day Solano County has ever seen.

Hey LSGS nonprofit leaders,

Our next Live Solano Give Solano meeting is tomorrow Thursday, March 26th at 4 PM!

We've been thinking about how to keep making our monthly meetings practical for you by using the time to give you key marketing and fundraising tips. There are a TON of resources on our website, but we know you don't all have time to read it!

So for March we're planning to do a quick storytelling workshop, then show you how to customize a banner using Canva. We'll do it in that order so those with Canva experience can leave early if they wish.

In case you didn't know, Canva Pro is free all registered nonprofits. Click on the link to learn how to apply. Free Canva Pro for Nonprofits

Our goal is that you leave the March meeting with a short paragraph and a graphic to go with it - suitable for immediate posting on social media and dropping into your next newsletter!

While it may seem early to be fundraising for October 7th, it's not too early to let your current and potential donors know about your participation in LSGS. We're planting seeds now for a fruitful fundraiser in October.

Help Us, Help You. To better understand your donor outreach,
please take our very short survey.

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!
