A sculpture commemorating seven Freemasons who created a Masonic lodge while imprisoned in a N**i concentration camp.

The lodge was named Liberté chérie, which means cherished liberty. The lodge was created on November 15th, 1943, and located in Esterwegen, Lower Saxony, Germany. The seven Freemasons who created the lodge are:

Paul Hanson, Luc Somerhausen, Jean Sugg, Franz Rochat, Guy Hannecart, Amédée Miclotte, and Degueldre.

Are you passionate about demonstrating patriotism and contributing to your community? We invite you to consider an exceptional opportunity to partner with the brothers of the Fairfield Masonic Lodge, who will place a flag in your yard, addressing both inquiries. Unsure about the process? It’s straightforward. For an annual subscription fee of merely $50 per flag, we will visit your residence or business and position the flag according to your preference, subsequently retrieving it. Your flag will be displayed on the following six patriotic holidays (holiday placements may vary by region): Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day, Patriot Day (9/11), Veterans Day, and Presidents Day. Your flag subscription will cover the next six patriotic holidays following your subscription (a full 12 months of holidays), with renewal billing occurring at approximately the same time each year.

Our Story

The activities of the Fairfield Lodge of Ancient Free & Accepted Masons starts as a fraternity of supportive men who through social interaction help each other to be better men. Our activities include support to members of the comunity of all ages. These include reading programs at the grade school and the Fantastic Teeth program to educate and provide the tools to children to improve dental health and hygene. We sponsor blood drives that also support the Scottish Rite Childrens Hospital and give Scholorships to High School Graduates for further education.
