Harbin Park MTB Trails

Harbin Park MTB Trails Harbin Park includes a ¾-mile easy trail, a ¾-mile moderate trail, and a 4.4-mile challenging trail. Open to hikers, bikers, and trail runners. Mother!

6-7 miles of sweet, technical single track in the heart of the suburbs. Harbin consists of an orange and a green loop. Don't be fooled by the Green Loops name...it's not exactly easy. Lots of short punchy climbs, technical downhills, and the infamous Mt. Take the Presidential Challenge and ride from the bottom of Mt. mother all the way up the fire road to the water tower. Check out the segment on Strava for additional details.

Troy has been at Harbin creating peak conditions for all of your trail use! He cleared out multiple trees (some were GIGANTIC), treated honeysuckle, rebuilt a bridge, and spruced up the sled ride hill entrance. Thanks Troy for all your work!

Harbin Park’s Trails Are Looking Better Than Ever!! 💅

Thanks to a new partnership with the City of Fairfield, CORA has been able to support improvements to the natural surface trails at Harbin Park.

Maintaining the trails has grown into a collaborative effort, with more than 15 CORA volunteers and focused support from our trail crew.

Earlier this year, the trails faced numerous challenges, including over 20 downed trees, eroded culverts, and deteriorated puncheons. Our team cleared debris, addressed erosion, and removed invasive honeysuckle to improve safety and trail usability.

These improvements were made using sustainable trail techniques designed to support better drainage and longer-lasting trail surfaces.

We are incredibly grateful for the volunteers who gave their time and effort to this work, and for every person who offered encouragement during trail days. Their support makes a difference.

While volunteers are essential, these projects still involve real costs. Our team performs frequent trail assessments, purchases, rents, and maintains tools and materials, coordinates volunteer efforts, and plans for long-term improvements. Their expertise is what makes this work effective and sustainable.

If you value trail access and would like to support ongoing efforts like this, consider making a donation. Your contribution helps us continue building better, more sustainable trails for everyone.
