We are proud to have partnered with Frontier Community College to bring Health Fest to Wayne County seventh graders this spring!

Health Fest utilizes curriculum from the 4-H school program, Health Rocks, to address topics like the negative health effects of smoking and va**ng, how drugs and alcohol affect situational awareness, what positive and trustworthy relationships look like, and identifying sources of stress.

By partnering with FCC, students also had the opportunity to explore the FCC nursing lab and learn more about the EMT and phlebotomy professions. The program even included a yoga session to start the day!

Thank you to FCC and all of the facilitators who helped make this year’s Health Fest a success!
