HEI currently supports two Haitian foundations: Cercles Amis des Enfants en Situation Difficile (CASED) which serves 100 children in urban Jacmel, and Fondation Jean Bellande Joseph, which serves 60 children in rural areas outside Jacmel. HEI also functions as a clearinghouse for other foundations working to promote education in Haiti. HEI personally interviews all recipients and supervises the di

stribution of donations so that we can report firsthand to our donors on the results achieved by our efforts.

Thank you so much!

I've just been contacted about a group of Haitian legal immigrants who are living and working under abusive conditions at a luxury hotel in Asheville. They want to get out, find better housing and better jobs. They have all their papers. How to help them? What resources or procedures can you suggest? Thank you for sharing your information.
