As we all prepare for the 4th of July summer cook-outs with family and friends, please remember there are many amongst us who never get to experience this same tradition. Three years ago we started hosting monthly, summer BBQs for our friends at the Community Kitchen, and our guests LOVE IT! Here is the link to donate to our next Community Kitchen BBQ on Friday, July 10, for Operation Hope of Fairfield . We are so grateful to all of you who are helping us feed our beautiful guests.

Operation Hope's Community Kitchen is to always be ready to serve 45-50 people since anyone hungry is welcome. If you're out and about shopping at the Stop & Shop on Kings Hwy Cutoff on Saturday, please consider making a donation to Operation Hope's Pantry! The Columbia University Club of Fairfield County (CUCFC) is generously volunteering their time to collect donations to help stock our pantry. The timing is especially helpful as we lead up to the summer months, when our shelves tend to be the emptiest all year long. Thank you 🫶

Many hands make light work! We are very appreciative to our friends and neighbors who help make our monthly Friday night cook outs at Operation Hope of Fairfield a success! Exciting news! Operation Hope of Fairfield has announced the appointment of Fernando Muñiz as the next Executive Director, effective June 1, 2026. Muñiz succeeds Carla Miklos, who retired after 19 years of extraordinary leadership at the end of March 2026.

✨TOMORROW✨ The annual town-wide Mail Carrier Food Drive is Saturday, May 9, rain or shine! 📪 Donations will be collected for Operation Hope of Fairfield! Place your donations in the yellow bag you received in your mailbox on Thursday. The yellow bag signifies that your mail carrier is volunteering to participate in the food drive.
