Information recently shared by KCRA regarding local public safety compensation amounts failed to disclose the overtime figures created by the challenges listed above. Salaries shared by KCRA represent thousands of additional work hours. Hours which our firefighters spend away from their families, committed to protecting the life and property of our citizens.
