Today, we pause in solemn remembrance of the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders and service members who ran toward danger. May we always remember their sacrifice, hold their families in prayer, and remain united in faith and hope. Never Forget. 🇺🇸

Pope Leo XIV appointed Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly as a member of the Vatican’s Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life on Aug. 25.

Established in 2016 by Pope Francis, the dicastery promotes the vocation and mission of the lay faithful, the pastoral care of young people, the family and the elderly, and the protection of human life. Its responsibilities also include organizing World Youth Days and support for lay movements and associations throughout the Church. The dicastery is headed by Cardinal Kevin J. Farrell, a former state chaplain of Texas.

The CT District 4th Degree enjoyed its annual outing to Dunkin’ Park in Hartford to watch the Hartford Yard Goats take on the Somerset Patriots, the Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees.

A fun night was had by all, and the evening concluded with a spectacular fireworks show!

Thank you to all of the Brother Knights and their families who came out and joined us. We appreciate your continued fellowship and support, and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

Are you a college knight or chaplain and are interested in becoming a Fourth Degree Sir Knight?

If so, we are excited to share that we will be having a special college Fourth Degree Exemplification at this year’s college conference! The Exemplification will take place on Saturday, September 26th at St. Mary’s, the parish where our founder, Bl. Michael McGivney is buried and where the Knights of Columbus was founded.

We invite each college council to send two college knights and their chaplain to the conference. Learn more and register at https://www.kofc.org/get-involved/events/conference/

Vivat Jesus!
