MARLEY DOODLE NEEDS ADOPTER!!
This sweet boy needs an adopter! He's had a rough life but now is in foster, safe and loved and waiting for YOU to adopt him.
This poor boy has had a very hard life. He was seen wandering around a rural VA town as far back as last fall - always with his best friend, a Lab mix. No one knew if he was owned or living on his own. And no one did anything to find out.
Just days ago his friend was hit and killed by a car, leaving Marley devastated and standing over his buddy's body confused. Thankfully a kind passerby got Marley safe and noticed how dirty, matted and skinny he was.
We had to jump into action immediately when an x-ray showed a corncob lodged in Marlye's intestine - something that would kill him very quickly. Poor boy only wanted food and now he was facing death.
After successful emergency surgery, Marley recovered well. He got a haircut and lots of pampering as he has recovered. And now he has made is way to us in Nova...doing GREAT. He's in a foster home with dogs and kids. Said to be sleeping well in his crate and going in the yard to do his business.
He will do best with another dog and some basic positive training to get the ropes of being a beloved family pet.
Marley is about 3 years old, 50 lbs. and SUPER SWEET. Not once through his awful ordeal has he been anything but gentle and sweet, even while in pain. Everyone who meets him loves him.
