Zeta Youth of Fairfax STEAM Play Date 2026

Our youth showed OUT at the ZYA STEAM Relays this weekend — exploring science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through hands‑on, joy‑filled activities that made learning come alive.

From chem‑art color reactions to balloon‑powered experiments, engineering challenges, and discovering how some of our favorite dances like the Cha-Cha Slide and Cupid Shuffle are like algorithms used in coding, every station gave our youth a chance to think creatively, solve problems, and shine in their own way. The girls used their lab notebooks to capture their observations and results.

Also, each girl had a chance to make an Emotion Potion as part of the Power of S.H.E Health Justice Workshop, while our Pearlettes learned about positive affirmations.

Thank you to our advisors, volunteers, and families for helping create a space where curiosity grows, confidence builds, and sisterhood thrives.

On Saturday, April 25th, Zeta Youth of Fairfax embarked on a mission of love and kindness, participating in the DC Area March for Babies, touching lives and making a difference!
