Last night had dinner with Kidus Legacy Education and Soccer Foundation Project Manager Sammy from Addis Ababa University, the assistant Coaches and the Kidus Legacy Foundation youth. It was inspiring and encouraging to see the relationship between the Project Manager, the assistant Coaches and the youth, reminded me so much of my own childhood. These kids show so much potential, in education, sports as well as in their understanding of the world they live in, and the possibilities the future holds if they’re willing to dream and work hard. I give the credit to Sammy the Project Manager, and Habti, Kidus Legacy Board Chair, for laying the groundwork, these two never gave up even when the going got tough trough COVID and the war, the team remains focused on the mission and vision of the Foundation. I see a bright future in the horizon. We would like to thank Sammy, The Addis Ababa University as well as all the supporters and donors who have been there from the very beginning. Kidus Legacy will not be able to do this without you. Please continue to support these bright young Ethiopian youth, God willing, the best is yet to come!!!!

I had an enjoyable and productive lunch meeting with Dr. Addisalem and Dr. Shimeles from Addis Ababa University who were instrumental in establishing the Kidus Legacy Foundation at Addis Ababa University together with my husband, Habtamu Lemma who’s the Board Chair.
We’re impressed by what has been accomplished and looking forward to working together to change the lives of underprivileged but talented Ethiopian youth through Education and Sports ( Soccer)
