Coffee tastes a little better when we're sharing it around the same table.

You asked for more opportunities to connect, collaborate, and build relationships in person. So, we're trying something new.

From September through December, 1 Million Cups Fairfax will test TWO hybrid meetings each month, on the first and third Wednesday.

Come meet the entrepreneurs behind the screens, reconnect with familiar faces, welcome someone new, and contribute your experience to another entrepreneur's business challenge.

Can't make it to Fairfax? No problem. Every hybrid meeting will still have an online option, and our other Wednesdays will remain virtual.

β˜• First Wednesday: Hybrid
β˜• Third Wednesday: Hybrid
πŸ’» Other Wednesdays: Virtual

Same community. Same Wednesday morning business conversations. More opportunities to connect in person.

We hope you'll join us.

You attend an event. Make a great connection. Exchange information. Promise to follow up.

Then life happens.

That's the problem Shawn Gregoire has been working to solve with Capstone Outreach. When Shawn first presented to our community, he was focused on reaching solo founders experiencing the pain of lost leads.

Today, he's coming back with an update, a look at how his AI-powered platform works, and a new opportunity he's exploring:

How can he reach event planners who could use Capstone Outreach to help their attendees follow up on the connections they make?

Join our community at 9 AM to see what Shawn has built and help him explore this next market.

Know an event planner, conference organizer, association leader, or someone who regularly brings people together? Invite them to join today's conversation. They may have exactly the perspective Shawn needs.

More in-person opportunities to connect are coming to 1 Million Cups Fairfax!

From September through December 2026, our community is testing a new meeting schedule. We'll meet in person AND online on the first and third Wednesday of each month.

That means twice as many opportunities to grab a cup of coffee, meet fellow entrepreneurs face-to-face, and take part in the business conversations that make our community special.

Our remaining Wednesdays will continue online, so you'll still have the flexibility to join us wherever you are.

First + Third Wednesday = Hybrid
All other Wednesdays = Virtual

What if the value of a networking event didn't end when everyone went home?

When Shawn Gregoire first presented Capstone Outreach to our community, he asked:

"How do I get in front of solo founders at the moment when the 'lost-lead' pain is sharpest?"

Since then, Shawn has continued building and refining his AI-powered platform, designed to help turn promising connections into personalized follow-up before opportunities go cold.

Now he's coming back with an update, a closer look at how the platform works, and a new question:

"How do I get in front of event planners to see how they can use this to support their attendees?"

Think about all the connections made at conferences, networking events, trade shows, and business gatherings. Could event organizers help attendees get more value from those connections after the event ends?

That's the business conversation we're having this Wednesday.

If you're an event planner, work with associations or conferences, organize networking events, or have ideas about partnerships and reaching this market, your perspective could be especially valuable.

How do you grow a product rooted in family tradition into a brand that reaches a much larger market?

That was the question Katerina Pyankevych from Pani Zina brought to our community last week.

Katerina shared the story behind Pani Zina and opened a conversation around growing the company's markets, reaching new customers, and identifying opportunities for expansion.

The discussion offered ideas that extend far beyond a food business. Finding the right audience, choosing growth channels, building partnerships, and deciding where to focus limited resources are questions nearly every entrepreneur encounters as a business grows.

If you missed the conversation, you can still catch up.

Did you miss this week's business conversation?

Kristine Grow from Grow Communications Strategies brought a challenge that resonates with consultants, coaches, and service providers everywhere: how do you effectively manage your sales pipeline while building meaningful client relationships?

Our community shared practical ideas on prioritizing opportunities, maintaining momentum with prospects, and creating systems that support long-term business growth. It was another reminder that one entrepreneur's question often benefits everyone in the room.

How do you take a family tradition and grow it into a thriving business?

This Wednesday, our community welcomes Katerina Pyankevych from Pani Zina, a business rooted in Ukrainian heritage and a family tradition of naturally fermented foods.

Inspired by childhood memories of fermenting food with her family in Ukraine, Katerina and her mother transformed that tradition into Pani Zina. Today, the company creates naturally fermented, unpasteurized sauerkraut made with organically grown ingredients, bringing traditional flavors and probiotic foods to a new generation of consumers.

Now Katerina is bringing the next big question in her entrepreneurial journey to our community:

"How do we grow our markets and expand the business?"

This is a conversation about more than sauerkraut. It's about taking a product people love and figuring out what's next. New customers? New markets? New partnerships? New channels?

If you've grown a product-based business, built retail or wholesale relationships, expanded into new markets, or simply have a fresh perspective, your experience could help Katerina identify her next opportunity.

Join the conversation this Wednesday and help another entrepreneur move forward.

A full pipeline feels great. Managing it effectively is the real challenge.

For consultants and service providers, success isn’t just about finding opportunities. It’s about knowing which ones to pursue, how to nurture relationships, and when to move prospects through the sales process.

This week, we’re excited to welcome Kristine Grow from Grow Communications Strategies to our community. With decades of experience helping organizations communicate with clarity and build trust, Kristine is bringing a challenge many entrepreneurs can relate to:

β€œAs a provider of consulting services, how should I approach properly managing my pipeline?”

Whether you’ve built a sales process that works or you’re still refining it, your experience could help another entrepreneur gain clarity and confidence.

Join us on Wednesday for another business conversation where one thoughtful question can create valuable insights for everyone.
