Hi everyone! We hope that you’ve had an awesome summer and you’ve missed us! There are big changes coming to our organization this year, and we would like to be as transparent as possible to maintain such awesome support from you guys!

In order to perform to the best of our abilities and maintain the same level of commitment that we strive to provide each year, we will not be having a Relay for Life large scale event for the 2017-2018 school year. This comes after some major changes in our leadership, including no longer being provided an ACS staff partner for this academic year. We are not discouraged and will continue the fight against cancer in a new way!

What does this mean for our organization? We are trying new things, branching out, and getting a bit creative! This year, we will be creating “A Year in the Life of Relay”, where we will be breaking down the events into smaller scaled monthly programs. We will be continuing our support for the American Cancer Society and fundraising through a different online system that will be posted leading up to each event. We would still like to fundraise towards a yearly goal, and we need your support now more than ever.

This decision does not come lightly, as we are thinking what is best for our organization’s members as well as our future. We are so excited to start this journey and re-create our passion in a new way. If you have any questions, please reach out to us, or me personally, [email protected].

Thanks to everyone that came out to our event and helped us raise money for the American Cancer Society! We raised $17,542.77! This money will go towards cancer research, patient support, prevention/education & more! 💜
