Join Caelus Rocketry to be the first high schoolers to launch a liquid-fuel rocket to space! 🚀
Interested in learning about rocket propulsion, engine design, airframe construction, integrated electronics/PCB systems, or aerospace software design? Do you love business administration or STEM outreach?
Join Caelus Rocketry (formerly known as Project Caelus)! Caelus Rocketry is a team of students working to be the first high schoolers to build and launch a liquid-fueled rocket. We’ve partnered with universities like the University of Michigan and GMU to conduct STEM/aerospace outreach for over 20,000 people, as well as with NASA, SpaceX, and Aerojet, and most recently SWE, raising over $25,000 to support our project. We are looking for passionate students willing to put effort towards this project, not necessarily those with the most experience.
Our applications are due Friday, December 5 at 11:59 PM, followed by an interview round to ensure that we get the best picture of you as a candidate.
Note: This club runs outside of school—it’s not an 8th period club—and all meetings run outside of school hours (weekly in-person meetings are 2-6 PM on Saturdays in Chantilly).
Feel free to ask any questions you have, whether general or subteam-specific! Shoot us an email at [email protected].
Want to learn more? Check us out at caelusrocketry.org. We will be holding an interest meeting on Monday, December 1st during lunch in Einstein Commons.
