Introducing Anika Humad, a software developer intern at our Fairfax, Virginia, office. She is a rising senior at Pennsylvania State University, studying .

Anika’s interest in information technology comes from her passion for improving how technology integrates into everyday life. She values the field’s constant evolution, which keeps her learning and growing.

A few fun facts about Anika: she enjoys staying active at the gym, going on hikes, and unwinding with a good book. When asked what food she could eat for the rest of her life, she said tacos.

After serving 23 years in the U.S. Air Force, our very own Larry Johnson continues to make an impact through leadership and service. He served from 1984 and retired in 2007.

Larry spent 20 years of his military career as a signals intelligence analyst before serving his final three years as a First Sergeant. Along the way, he was stationed in Italy, the United Kingdom, Japan, Texas, Florida, and Hawaii – experiences that broadened his perspective and shaped his leadership style.

Today, as an Intelligence Production Manager at Riverside Research, he credits his military service with teaching him invaluable leadership, organization, and people management skills that continue to guide him. Beyond his day-to-day role, he leads our Veterans’ Employee Resource Group and serves as the Vice President of the Fisher-Nightingale Houses’ Dayton Chapter, both of which help support veterans and military families.

Thank you, Larry, for your service to our nation, and for your dedication to Riverside Research!

Riverside Research will be at DEF CON 34 in Las Vegas, NV, on August 6-9. Located in the aerospace village, our booth will offer attendees a change to win a custom SAO or challenge coin by completing aviation capture-the-flag challenges.

Additionally, Ryan Zmuda will give a talk about his outside research in video game cheat prevention, entitled, “Your Lives are in Another Struct: Breaking Memory Hacks with Field Relocation.”

This is Teddy Braun, one of our Sensors and Systems interns in our Manhattan office. He is studying and at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Teddy is passionate about these fields because they combine theory with real-world application, giving him a deeper understanding of how modern technology is designed and built. This summer, he’s looking forward to gaining hands-on technical experience, learning from experienced professionals, and building meaningful connections that will help shape his future.

Teddy is an avid baseball fan who enjoys playing guitar, card games, and watching movies. Fun fact: he’s also a big fan of reality TV.
