Ok everyone …. Need your honest thoughts …

It seems that the end of May, beginning of June is not a great time for our 5K anymore. So many graduation parties, or kids ball games, and now Cedar Rapids had a huge marathon and Ely had a 5K the same day as ours.

We discussed in depth last night at our board meeting about moving our 5K to September 18, 2027. I checked and there is a 5K - 10K in Newbo the first weekend in September and a 5K in Lisbon the last weekend. We did not want to host it on September 11th (9-11). Also, we were thinking that September might be good to get cross country teams to come out and join us, as school is just getting back in session and the teams want practice.

How does everyone feel about this?

First I want to thank everyone that supported us yesterday at our annual 5K/1K for Lyme Awareness. Our hearts are so full after another successful event and we have YOU to thank for that. Without your help and support we couldn't do what we do.

We also want to thank our volunteers - they are always there when we need help.

Thank you Dustin for another year of great tunes.
Thank you Deanne Salisbury for your beautiful prayer.
Thank you Phil Hedtke for sharing your wonderful voice and singing the National Anthem and for taking pictures during the event.

Thank you Ameri Zilian for joining us. I hope it worked out for you.

Lastly, so many thanks go out to Duane for speaking at our event. So many people were touched by you sharing your story about your beautiful daughter.

We will share photos once we get them from Phil.

Now, you will notice I added our flyer for Disc Golf. If you know anyone that plays, please share the details with them. This will be our last big fundraiser for the year.

Hey Lyme world ...... We received this question today through our website. Would anyone have an answer or idea? TIA

Is it common for four year olds/kids to present with multiple ring rashes, not raised or itchy? Since it isn’t the “bullseye” in one spot, it’s hard to know what this rash is.
