STREET REPAVING WORK: April 20-27. Please be advised that BROTHERS PAVING AND CONCRETE CORPORATION has been contracted to provide ASPHALT PAVING within the parking areas and streets listed below. Please see photos in the comments below for the anticipated schedule, closures, and maps.

--VEHICLES NEED TO BE OUT OF VISITORS SPACES AND WORK AREAS BY 6:30 AM
--IF YOU NEED TO USE YOUR VEHICLE WHILE PAVING IS IN PROCESS IN YOUR SECTION OF THE COMMUNITY OR WHILE GREY FINCH IS BEING REPAVED YOU MUST RELOCATE IT TO AN OPEN VISITOR SPACE IN THE COMMUNITY OR TO A LOCATION OUT OF THE COMMUNITY.
--CARS SHOULD NOT REMAIN PARKED ON HOMEOWNERS OR RESIDENT’S DRIVEWAYS.

The board and contractor have made every effort to minimize disruption while this needed repair and maintenance project is completed. Each area should be complete within 3 days, barring any weather delays or unanticipated circumstances. YOUR ANTICIPATED COOPERATION IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.

Announcement from American Disposal Services: Due to inclement weather and poor road conditions, all schedule services for Friday, February 19th, 2021 have been suspended. Services will resume on our next scheduled collection day. Please clear all trash and recycling from the curb. Sorry for the inconvenience.

--Per Fairfax County Code ALL DOGS four months of age or older MUST BE LICENSED. Licenses are good for the calendar year in which they are issued and expire on December 31st. New licenses must be purchased by January 31st.
---In Fairfax County, dogs are REQUIRED TO BE ON A LEASH at all times in public areas unless they’re in a designated off-leash area.
---PICK UP DOG WASTE and dispose of it in a public trash can or at home. Dog waste is not only unsightly, but it pollutes groundwater and is harmful to wildlife. Pet owners who violate the County’s pooper scooper law may incur a fine up to $250.

**Christmas trees will be removed on your regularly scheduled yard debris day** (This is the second pickup day of the week, Friday.)

Christmas trees are only collected seasonally at the curb from December 26 to January 31.

Place your Christmas Tree at the curb by 6 a.m. on your scheduled collection day. Trees can be placed curbside on the second trash pick up day for twice a week customers.

Regarding Christmas tree pickup, according to the ADS website for Fairfax County, Virginia:
Christmas trees will be picked up the first two Wednesdays in January. Any yard waste generated after the last pick up in January should be placed curbside on the 2nd regularly scheduled trash pickup day until yard waste season resumes. Please do not place Christmas trees in plastic bags. Before setting your tree out for pickup, please remove all tinsel, lights, and decorations.
