We want to thank everyone who has supported Stella Marina and our mission to help the midwives and mothers in Haiti. Due to the prolonged unrest in Haiti - as well as some personal changes - we are ending our ministry through . We have sent all of our remaining kits and supplies to Honduras to be used in those communities. hopes to continue the mission with another partner. We will keep you posted so that you may continue to support these efforts if you choose. We would like to thank our parish, pastor (Fr. Bob Cilinski), many amazing volunteers (you know who you are!), (for our donated storage space), (who donated us boxes, and tractor trailers), and most importantly who gave us the encouragement and guidance during these past 10 years. Please continue to pray for Haiti! God is good all the time!!

On this Operation Starfish weekend we celebrate the legacy and work of Fr Richard Martin. Stella Marina was able to put together 1,000 clean delivery birthing kits for the midwives served by Food for the Poor. As we celebrate our ten years of helping the midwives and mothers in the slums of Haiti, we want to thank our amazing volunteers, corporate sponsors CubeSmart and Interstate Van Lines, and the parishioners who have given so generously over the years.

Wanted to share these amazing medical exam tables donated by . Moving these tables was not an easy feat - but thanks to - our volunteers got them on our truck! And thanks to Fr Bennett from who blessed the contents of the truck, the truck and our driver. He will see the items in Honduras (me too!) in July!

Our shipping container is on its way to Honduras! Thank you to our volunteers who moved boxes in the rain! And huge thank you to who helped us move 5 examination tables into the container. These tables easily weigh 200 pounds so lifting them up could not be done. They donated staff and a gate lift truck to get them into the container. We are so humbled by the continued support we receive from so many!!

Another successful build this morning! Our volunteers put together 1,000 kits for the midwives in the slums of Haiti. What a beautiful way to celebrate and the Epiphany! What a gift of service! (And amazed at the number of kids and teens who were there on a Saturday morning!)
