The Kiwanis Club of Fairfax held its annual officer installation dinner this evening, bringing members together to recognize both incoming and outgoing leaders. As the club welcomed its new officers, we expressed our sincere appreciation to those concluding their terms of service. The evening included a presentation of the Kiwanis International Life Member Award to Joe Ahr. We also extended our best wishes to Monika and Brad Mayfield as they prepare to relocate. Their contributions to the club and community will be greatly missed.

After a great dinner at Zaytouna Bistro, we came together for a fun and meaningful evening packing weekend meals through our Meals 4 Young Minds (M4YM) program, supporting children in the Fairfax City area. We’re excited to welcome high school Key Clubs in the coming months and invite others to join us in helping make weekends a little brighter for local children.

A little rain did not stop the Kiwanis Club of Fairfax from participating in the Fairfax City Spring Cleanup! We picked up trash along Lion Run.
