We had a great ride today. About 70 bikes left the post parking lot under the es**rt of the City of Fairfax and Fairfax County motor squads. Fairfax City PD took a nice picture of us coming up to Patriot HD.

It's been a busy weekend. We had the drawing for the Auxiliary's booze raffle Saturday. Winning ticket was purchased by Karen Hunter. Karen almost didn't win, she initially wanted to just give us a $20 donation, but her husband said she should fill out the tickets. He looks pretty happy with his decision.

Registration is up for the National Legacy Run.

2025 Legacy Run registration is now live: https://register.legion.org/riders/registration.
The ride, which again will raise funds for The American Legion Veterans & Children Foundation, will depart American Legion Post 8 in South Boston, Va., on Aug. 17 and arrive just outside of Tampa, Fla. – the site of the 2025 American Legion National Convention. Over the course of approximately 1,100 miles, the ride will also travel through North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.

Hey riders, we are getting some inquiries about Memorial day weekend and Rolling to Remember.

This year should be dame as the last couple of years.

Friday night Post 177 will have their Friday Night Dinner.

Saturday the post will be open for made to order breakfast and in the afternoon the Sons will be having their BBQ.

Sunday morning we will line up early for a police es**rt to the front of the line of the Ride of the Patriots at Patriot Harley Davidson. Then we will have a police es**rted ride to the Pentagon Parking lot for Rolling to Remember.

We haven't got exact times for Sunday morning yet, but should be similar to last year. Will post times as soon as we get them.
