National Capital Trackers

National Capital Trackers We are a club of "O" Gauge electric train enthusiasts that enjoy our hobby running trains.

The National Capital Trackers have been Operating “O” gauge trains throughout the Washington DC metro area since 1991. As the hobby has evolved over the last several years so have the National Capital Trackers club. We have embraced the technology of today and operate our “O” gauge trains with all available digital controls from both Lionel and MTH, both leaders in the hobby. Our Toy Train Modular

layouts feature Lionel TMCC and Legacy systems, and MTH’s DCS digital control system right along with conventionally controlled engines at all of our venues. By utilizing all available control systems we open our modular layouts to every level of train enthusiasts and encourage new and old members to share their passion of operating their favorite “O” gauge trains with members and public alike.

This is a call for participation extended to all club members for the
Pohick Regional Public Library show in Fairfax County on the last
weekend of March 2025.
- Setup starts on Friday afternoon 28 March at noon until 6pm.
- Setup continues on Saturday morning at 8am until library opening at 10am.
- Show closes at 6pm on Saturday.
- Show reopens on Sunday morning at 10am until 3pm followed by take down
completion no later than 6pm.

Note that if Fairfax County Public Schools are closed due to weather
Friday or the weekend, then the show is hereby cancelled.
