New members welcome. Western Suburbs Rugby Football Club (Suburbs) is a member of the the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Football Union and competes in the Division III competition of USA Rugby. The club has a second side for the 2016/2017 season, and also fields an over-35 side, the Western Suburbs Old Boys (SOBs), as well as the WSRFC U-19 Team, competing in the SRO-Rugby Virginia organization.

Looking at these two photos brings a wave of so many emotions. On the left, a memory from years ago—out on the pitch with Daniel Ramos. We lost Daniel during the difficult days of the pandemic, a loss that we still feel deeply every single day. He will always be a part of our club and our hearts.
On the right, a moment from this past week— Daniels’s teammates standing with Daniel’s younger sister, Vicky, at her high school graduation. Vicky, your resilience, strength, and grace are inspiring. Daniel would be so incredibly proud of the young woman you’ve become, and we are so honored to stand by your side.

🏉 SUMMER 7s IS HERE! 🏉

Looking to stay fit, sharpen your rugby skills, or just have some fun this summer? Western Suburbs RFC has you covered.

Starting June 2, we’ll be training every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00–9:30 PM at Poplar Tree Park in Chantilly as we prepare for a full summer of sevens rugby.

Whether you’re a seasoned player, new to the game, or a former player looking to lace up the boots again, all are welcome. Sevens is fast, fun, and one of the best ways to improve your fitness and rugby skills.

📅 Summer Schedule:
🏉 June 20 – Billy Gardner 7s
🏉 June 27 – Rites of Summer
🏉 July 11 – S’kill 7s
🏉 July 25 – Last Call Sevens (Hosted by Western Suburbs RFC)

And when the rugby is done, we’ll wrap up the summer with our annual team bar crawl on August 1.

Come train, compete, and be part of one of Northern Virginia’s longest-running rugby clubs as we continue our 50th Anniversary season.

No experience necessary. Just bring a great attitude and a willingness to work hard and have fun.
