Check out this awesome video ride of Caballo Rojo after it first opened in December 2025! Caballo Rojo is a downhill-only option to exit the Tamaracho loop in Marin County, and to help decrease the downhill traffic on the original Alchemist trail coming up from the Iron Springs Road kiosk. With proper speed, it's a great sister trail to Endor Flow Trail on the other side of the Camp Tamarancho, BSA trails loop.

Surveying the surface conditions today, there should be sufficient drainage and drying to re-open the trails loop on Saturday morning January 10. Annual pass membership are still discounted through January 11, so buy your pass at the link below and head out to ride! Please be aware that there will likely be a group of Marin Trail Stewards working along Goldman Trail tomorrow.
