Entryway Talent Opening the Door for Talent
Career Training + Employment + Housing Most homeless want to work and return to a life of self-sufficiency.

Entryway is a nonprofit organization that provides housing and employment opportunities to the homeless by educating and engaging real estate/property management leaders and encouraging action within their communities. It is estimated that over the course of a year, 3.5 million people experience homelessness, 40 percent of whom are children. These individuals and families experience a life-alterin

g event such as a job loss, domestic abuse, or other situations and find themselves where they never thought they would be—without a home. Unlike most perceptions, less than 30% of homeless have drug or alcohol dependency issues, or are mentally ill. Entryway provides solutions in participating communities for individuals facing homelessness by:

• Partnering with local organizations that serve the homeless, veterans, and domestic violence victims to identify successful candidates for the Entryway Program;

• Engaging property managers and real estate professionals within the community to provide housing, job opportunities, and mentoring for individuals who are looking for a “hand up” not a “hand out” on their path from homelessness to economic self-sufficiency. Entryway brings together apartment industry and real estate professionals across the country who are committed to offering opportunity and economic independence to individuals facing homelessness. Please join our efforts by serving as a Mentor, interviewing Entryway job candidates, and matching these ready-to-work individuals with opportunity.

POV: you run into an Entryway graduate ready to inspire the next group of participants 👏

Albert (left) finished training with Entryway and has been working in maintenance with Asset Living since 2024. We ran into him at the Atlanta Apartment Association’s 2026 Trade Show when he came by to the Entryway booth to say “hi”.

Seeing former participants like Albert continue to succeed is the best part of what we do! Their journeys help lead the way for others to follow in their footsteps.

Reducing barriers to housing 🏠

We’re excited to continue our work with OneApp to provide all Entryway participants access to stable housing while minimizing risks for multifamily partners.

OneApp recently launched OneApp Greenlight, an extension of their product for nonprofits.

With OneApp Greenlight, leasing offices can expect:
▶️ Applicants that are positioned for success by Entryway
▶️ End-to-end lease support for losses in rent, damages, and legal fees from OneApp

This benefit is free for communities when renting to an Entryway participant. Visit OneApp’s website for more information: https://oneapp.rentals/

Since 2017, Entryway has partnered with CORT to support participants (like Lataevia) as they rebuild their lives. CORT generously donates furniture and home essentials to Entryway participants when they move into a new place. 🏠

To date, CORT’s impact includes over $1 Million of household items provided to advance Entryway’s mission.

Thank you, CORT, for helping us turn empty apartments into homes where families can thrive.

Stories like these are why Entryway exists. One opportunity can create a brighter future for an entire family. 🏠

When Marcus first came to our team, he was looking for stability, direction, and a chance to rebuild. Entryway’s training program helped him gain confidence and learn new skills. Now, he is thriving in his maintenance career at Bridge Property Management. He has earned multiple promotions and is growing in his role everyday with the help of his supervisors and teammates.

Marcus’ younger brother, Seamar, graduated high school last year. Marcus stepped in to guide his brother, introducing him to Entryway’s program and work in the multifamily industry. Seamar recently completed his training and was hired by TriBridge Residential in Atlanta.

Both brothers are building their multifamily careers together, and they are excited to see what the future holds.
